Welcome Reception

Thursday evening welcome Meet & Greet reception social, with wine and cheese, on board the historic SS Sicamous sternwheeler.

Home Hosting 

• Friday, May 3rd
• Limited number of home hosting locations (first come, first served).
If Home Hosting – Bring a bottle of your favorite beverage, and be hosted for dinner by a local family.  Meet with your host family 6 PM (at TBA) …..then travel to their home.  Registered attendee may bring unpaid spouse or partner.

Golf Tournament

18-hole golf tournament. Open to all!

*The golf tournament is separate from the Conference. You do not have be attending the conference to join us in the golf tournament.

Wine Tour & Dinner

• In Osoyoos Friday, May 3rd
• 12 noon pickup at the Penticton Conference Centre (TBC) for touring of Lakeside Cellars, Hester Creek, and Intersection Wines. (Capacity 18 passengers)
• Dinner hosted by Osoyoos Rotary Members and partners at the Cottages (Radio Tower Road) starting at 5 p.m. Return to Penticton Conference Centre at 9 p.m.
• $75 USD, $100 CAD per person. Includes transportation to and from Penticton, tasting fees, brisket dinner with wine and desserts.

Brewery Tour

The Brewery Tour is at 11:45 on Friday, May 3rd. 
• All breweries (The Cannery Brewing, Slackwater Brewing and Neighbourhood Brewing) are within walking distance of the Penticton Lakeside Resort & Convention Centre 
• Guided by a local Rotarian
• Each Rotarian/Guest pays for whatever is tasted, drank or ate

Trail Cycling – Kettle Valley Railway Trail

• Friday May 3rd, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Rotarian lead e-bike Tour on the Kettle Valley Railway Trail
• Meet up Location: Front Entrance of the Lakeside Resort & Convention Centre
• Pick up your e-bike (pay them $55 CAD)
• Groups of 10 (we must reserve the bikes prior)
• Many places to eat along the way

Naramata Bench Wine Tour

• Friday May 3rd
• Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Meet up location: Front Entrance of the Lakeside Resort & Conference Centre
• 19 Participants Total
• Fees: $60 CAD per person (pay driver)

Munson Mountain Grassland & Wildfire Talk

• Free – 30 people maximum
• Start time 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
• Drive to Munson Mountain from hotel (map will be given to all drivers). While there, a small walk to view the scenic valley and hear about plant community and fire ecology.

Go to the Beach

Penticton is a city between Okanagan and Skaha Lakes with beaches. Most likely you will find you are within walking distance to a beach.
